Client was an alleged victim in a domestic violence case and retained Krizman Law in an effort to ensure their significant other would not be convicted. Mr. Krizman worked in concert with the defendant’s attorney to “1-2 punch” their strategy with the DA. Prosecution wanted jail, a monetary bond, and a no-contact order for the defendant due to prior convictions, but Mr. Krizman was able to use his position as the alleged victim’s attorney to get the defendant a PR bond and avoid the no contact order both over the prosecution’s objections. Mr. Krizman was able to further mitigate by presenting potential 5th amendment issues against self-incrimination to show the DA that the Client could not testify at trial. As a result, the case was dismissed.
