Client was accused of going to their ex-spouse’s house while intoxicated, upset over a custody arrangement with their child. Client was alleged to have taken a knife to their ex-spouse’s head after a disagreement. While Client is here legally, they are not a citizen. As such, the charges the Client was facing would result in them being deported.

After a thorough review of the evidence, Mr. Krizman found that Client had a strong alibi pointing him away from the alleged crime. Mr. Krizman was able to use this defense in negotiations with the prosecutor to get the felony charge reduced down to a misdemeanor. Client went from facing jail time and deportation to only two years probation, no jail, and no risk of deportation.

In addition, Mr. Krizman was also able to get permission for Client to serve his probation in Wyoming due to the Client now residing there.
