Lane Thomasson leads Krizman Law’s personal injury practice, representing people who have been seriously injured through the negligence of others. She brings substantial courtroom and civil litigation experience to each case and is known for her strategic judgment, thorough preparation, and determined advocacy.
Ms. Thomasson began her legal career as a deputy district attorney, where she prosecuted domestic violence and sexual assault cases. She later served as an assistant county attorney, advising county officials and law enforcement agencies and litigating dependency and neglect matters. Her practice has since expanded to general civil litigation, where she represents individuals, businesses, and institutional clients in a broad range of disputes throughout Southwest Colorado.
Ms. Thomasson earned her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she served as a senior editor of the Denver University Law Review and competed as a member of the school’s National Trial Team. She received her B.A. in English Literature from Smith College and her M.A. in International Peace and Security from King’s College London.
Outside the office, Ms. Thomasson enjoys backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and rock climbing with her husband, Mark, and their dog, Hachi.
