Client and their partner got into a heated verbal argument inside their jointly-owned home. Client smashed a phone on the ground out of frustration. The partner (alleged victim) thought it was their phone, and subsequently called the police to report the incident. Client was charged with Criminal Mischief (DV).

The alleged victim later learned that the phone was owned by Client, making the original police report incorrect. Mr. Krizman demonstrated this fact to the assigned district attorney, as well as flawlessly providing mitigating details such as Client’s career achievements and service awards. As a result of this tactical mitigation, the case was dismissed and Client’s record is to be sealed.
